The Skilling Queenslanders for Work Program is a suite of targeted skills and training programs supporting Queenslanders to gain the skills, qualifications and experience needed to enter and stay in the workforce.
Community-based not-for-profit organisations can apply for funding to start projects in local communities across Queensland. Local councils and school Parents and Citizens’ and Parents and Friends’ associations are also able to apply for funding under some programs.
Applications for funding under the first funding round for 2022–23 opened on 1 February 2022 and will close at 5pm, 31 March 2022.
For the 2022–23 Skilling Queenslanders for Work first funding round, the Queensland Council of Social Service (QCOSS) and departmental staff co-hosted a state-wide information webinar for interested organisations.
Queensland Council of Social Services (QCOSS) are hosting Tender Writing Workshops to assist community organisations with preparing their application for Skilling Queenslanders for Work.
A representative from the SQW regional team will be present in each workshop allowing you to connect and ask questions with the regional team and others in the region.
