Invitation to participate in diversity research: Female participation in the supply chain and logistics workforce.

Deakin University’s Centre for Supply Chain and Logistics is currently undertaking research exploring “why women don’t enter supply chain and logistics careers, and if they do enter, why do they leave?”.

The aim is to improve diversity in this essential sector. The research is funded by Food Innovation Australia Limited and 15 leading supply chain companies in the Wayfinder: Supply Chain Careers for Women Program and has Deakin University ethics approval.

The researchers are looking to interview women in three groups:

  • those currently working in supply chain or logistics roles
  • those who have worked in supply chain companies and have left, and
  • current female students or recent graduates across all courses.

The interview will be by telephone and will take around 20 minutes. To participate please register your interest:
