Lockdown extended to 4pm Sunday 8 August 2021

The South East Queensland lockdown has been extended until 4pm Sunday 8 August and these restrictions are much stricter than previous lockdowns. Please ensure you check for an updated roadmap to easing restrictions.

Anyone who has left the affected 11 local government areas since 1am Saturday 31 July must follow the lockdown rules wherever they are now.

To support our contact tracing efforts you should only leave your home for the listed essential purposes. If it’s essential to leave home, remember to wear a face mask and stay socially distanced at all times.

Please use the Check In Qld app wherever you go and continue to check the list of exposure sites as they are updated often.

The Restrictions for Locked Down Areas (South East Queensland) Direction covers a range of measures that are now in place and includes frequently asked questions on a range of topics. If you have any questions about this direction please call 134 COVID (13 42 68).
