Rail Safety Week

Rail Safety Week is an annual community awareness week held in Australia and New Zealand designed to engage the community in safe rail practices. Over 90 rail, police and government organisations from across Australia and New Zealand participate in Rail Safety Week, organising activities such as media events, safety demonstrations, webinars & virtual events, along with engaging schools & community groups to raise awareness of the importance of rail safety.
Rail Safety Week 2021 features a new campaign featuring TrackSAFE’s Rail Safety Ambassador, Vanessa Low, who shares her experience as a rail accident survivor by encouraging the community to ‘STAND BACK. LOOK UP. STAY RAIL SAFE’.
