The BUSY Sisters mentoring program is designed to support females in nontraditional workplaces in the first 6 months of their apprenticeship or traineeship. All mentors are female, trade qualified and are able to support mentees with access to a wealth of resources, advice and information to ensure they succeed in their chosen career.

To be eligible, Mentees must be enrolled in the program in the first month after the commencement date of their apprenticeship or traineeship in a non-traditional trade industry. Non-traditional industries include (but are not limited to):

  • Electrical
  • Barbering
  • Commercial Cookery
  • Information Technology
  • Mining
  • Construction
  • Automotive
  • Agriculture
  • Horticulture
  • Marine
