Australian Industry Standards (AIS) will be holding a series of Industry Skills 360 webinars to discuss skilling and workforce priorities.

On Friday, 12 March 2021, they will be holding a webinar to discuss emerging trends impacting future skills and current skills needed to support the Maritime industry.

In this session you will hear from:

  • The Maritime Industry Reference Committee – about the IRC’s role in addressing skills needs and current industry challenges
  • AIS Skills Specialist – for details of proposed qualification changes to meet the needs of industry and learners

A Discussion Starter is available which provides an overview of forward upcoming priorities for qualifications to address skills needs and seeks your feedback on some key areas.

Participation is encouraged from those involved with the Maritime industry, including employers, industry associations, peak bodies, government bodies, unions, training providers, regulators, those working in the industry or students.

This is your chance to provide input into the shaping of skills solutions to meet the needs of industry.
